Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 | Siem Reap – Arrival
Meal: None
Upon your arrival at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly driver (with/without guide) then transfers directly (approx. 45-60 minutes) to the hotel for check-in and have your own free time.

Day 2 | Full Day Angkor Temples
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at the hotel. We’re heading out at 8.30am to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest unrivaled monument in the world. Built by Suryavarman II in 12th Century, Angkor Wat is considered as one of the top destinations in Asia and is a must-see in your lifetime. Learning from your tour guide the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia. Continue to visit Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning, amazing tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed.
Enjoy delicious Khmer set lunch at The Palmboo restaurant (or similar).
Afternoon, we resume our discovery day for guided tour around Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king and terrace of elephant.
Finally, we stop at the South Gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces that religiously represent compassion, sympathy, equanimity and charity, and take as many photos as you want before heading back to the hotel.
Note: Visiting beautiful sunset (free of charge) is available at Phnom Bakheng, please speak to our tour guide to manage this for you. This is a hiking up (Approx. 20 minutes/way) to the hill and it’s always touristy or skip it if you feel tired.

Day 3 | Village Experience & Tonle Sap Lake
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at the hotel. We set off at 8.30am of out Siem Reap city, the journey passes interesting city highlight and huge beautiful rice paddies dotting with palm trees and cattle in the fields. We will visit a local market to observe interesting trade exchanges before arriving in the village, next have some fun on the oxcart ride through the village to get interaction along with “Hello” from friendly kids. Disembark the cart, you’ll be greeted by a host family then we get involved with rural activities such as rice planting or harvesting or growing vegetables or making roof of palm leaves depending on the season of the year. These rural village activities are most unique, memorable experience in your trip to Cambodia. Return to the family’s house, stroll round to see the surroundings which admired by routine, lifestyle, culture, customs and superstitions, enjoy lunch followed by tropical fruits and get refreshed by coconut juice before saying goodbye to the host.
Afternoon, continue to Mechrey – one of the interesting floating villages at Tonle Sap Lake. Embark a sheltered boat for the excursion to see The Great Lake of Tonle Sap which the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia and is also an ecological hot spot that was designated as a UNESCO biosphere in 1997. The boat trip slowly cruises along the canal then passing by floating school, floating houses which animated by some fishing activities. Our tour guide will explain you about Tonle Sap ecosystem and witness how life works in the floating community relying on aquatic resources, and we stop to see a small floating crocodile farm, souvenirs shop and stroll around Buddhist pagoda to interact the locals. Return to our awaiting car/van then we make our way back to the hotel.

Day 4 | Angkor Sunrise, Beautiful Banteay Srei, City Tour & Apsara dance performance
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
We begin the tour at 5.00am, drive within the soft morning of Angkor jungle toward the magnificent Angkor Wat where we enjoy walking to watch the spectacular sunrise over Angkor Wat towers and capture its beautiful sunrise reflection at the lotus pond before returning to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, we leave at a convenient time again to visit Banteay Samre temple which was built in 12th century during Angkor period, admired by its serenity, and take some beautiful photos before strolling at Preah Dak village to observe local people making the famous steaming-rice cake which hides coconut milk inside.
Continue to unlock the intricately carved, beautiful red-pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei – considered to be a Jewel of Khmer art which features elaborate decorations and its finest details. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourists and have led to its being widely praised as a “precious gem”.
Afternoon, we visit the finest Artisan Angkor wood/stone carving center which displays various defined handicrafts and silk products, continue to stroll around old market to see interesting daily trade as well as bargaining for local handmade products, paintings, lacquers, carvings, clothes, traditional crafts and so on, and resume going to Royal Residence Garden where we enjoy the walking for breathtaking and take nice photos as well as observing the sacred shrine of Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm where you will probably also see hundreds of bats flying around.
Evening, we leave to enjoy buffet dinner followed by traditional Apsara dance performance at a selected local restaurant.

Day 5 | Siem Reap to Phnom Penh by Public Bus
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at the hotel. Simply have the rest of free time in Siem Reap before our driver (with/without guide) picks you up at 8.15am then transfers you to Giant Ibis bus station for departure at 8.45am (6 hours) to Phnom Penh Capital.
*Note: Private transfer by car/minivan is available upon request, and there are several places that you will see on the way such as the ancient bridge, tasting bamboo sticky rices and deep-fried crispy bugs (crickets, grasshopper, tarantulas or water bugs etc.) at Skun Village.
Upon your arrival at the bus station, our driver (with/without guide) will greet you then transfer to the hotel for check-in and have your own free time.

Day 6 | Phnom Penh Historical Sites & Champey Academy of Arts
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at the hotel. We depart to witness the tragic site of Choeung Ek – the killing field that proceeded more than 20 thousands of civilians and the site is connecting with Tuol Sleng Museum – was the former school that was transformed to Tortured Prison S21. Next, we stroll around Russian market for shopping before having Khmer set lunch at Bopha Titanic restaurant by Phnom Penh Riverside.
Afternoon, transfer to Champey Academy of Arts where you will observe their classes in traditional dance at 2.00pm – both classical and folkloric, traditional music and traditional drawing/painting. Not only just observing their arts but also learning what and how the art school provides a safe space for disadvantaged young people where school can introduce them to their nation’s rich arts culture while helping them to experience the pride, self-confidence and poise which come from mastering difficult skills.
Return to the hotel and have free time.

Day 7 | Phnom Penh City Tour & Mekong Sunset Boat
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at the hotel. Today we start the tour at 8.30am from hotel then we drive for the fantastic morning highlight of Phnom Penh Capital toward Independent Monument where we stop to capture some beautiful photos before paying important visit to The Royal Palace – a complex of buildings which are served as the royal residence for the King of Cambodia, admired by impressive Silver Pagoda with over 5000 solid silver tiles and other Royal Stupas, shrines, monuments etc. Continue for a guided tour at the National Museum, the world’s most important collection of Cambodian antique sculptures and carvings. Next, continue to visit Wat Phnom with interesting legendary of founding place of Phnom Penh Capital.
Enjoy Khmer set lunch at Banana tree restaurant.
After lunch break, return to the hotel and have your own free time OR continue to walk around Central market. So please speak about this with our tour guide about this.
Central market is a dome shape mixing of French art decoration and was built in 1937, the dome of Central Market or Phar Thmei consists four long wings that gather hundreds of stalls displaying and selling many kinds of goods, local vegetables, meats, groceries, seafood, flowers, jewellery, clothes, brand/fake watches and many more.
Evening at 4.30pm, our guide and driver take you to Phnom Penh’s Riverside where you get on board with a welcome cocktail, watch the sunset fading at horizon, immerse yourself with golden color of Phnom Penh skyline. Disembark around 7.00pm and return to the hotel or get dropped off at Night Market.

Day 8 | Phnom Penh to Kampot by Train & Kampot River Sunset Boat
Meal: Breakfast
Enjoy the take-away breakfast. Our driver (with/without guide) picks you up at 6.00am then transfers to the train station where you will catch the train at 7.00am (3-4 hours) to Kampot Province.
Upon your arrival at the train station, our driver (with/without guide) will greet you then transfer to the hotel for check-in and have your own free time.
Evening at 4.45pm, our guide and driver transfer you from the hotel to Kampot riverside where we process to take a local boat which slowly cruises along Kampot River to let you cool down to enjoy beautiful nature, along with local snacks and beers (or soft drinks) while catching the spectacular sunset fading right behind mountain range.

Day 9 | Kampot Kayaking and The Surroundings
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at the hotel. We leave for the tour at 9.00am for Kayaking through the Green Cathedral in Kampot is a peaceful and unforgettable way to experience Cambodia’s natural beauty. Surrounded by lush nipa palms and mangrove forests, the calm waterways create a stunning green tunnel that offers a relaxing escape from the bustle of everyday life. This scenic adventure provides opportunities to spot local wildlife, enjoy breathtaking views, and immerse yourself in the tranquil atmosphere.
Afternoon, we’re going to explore Phnom Chhngok where we experience walking 203-step staircase, down into the caves and admired by Pre-Angkorian bricked temple, continue to see Kamot Secret Lake before heading to observe the process of pepper at a pepper farm where the best famous Kampot pepper comes from and you may purchase a few packs of Kampot pepper before leaving the farm, and resume the adventure day to see the salt fields with learning from our tour guide about salt processing, the trip is enhanced by beautiful rice paddies dotting with palm trees and mountainous landscape before we return to the hotel for refreshment.
Evening, our team takes you to have Khmer set dinner at a selected local restaurant and drop you off at the hotel after dinner.
Overnight in Kampot
Day 10 | Kep Crab Market, National Park Trekking & Rabbit Island
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at the hotel. We head out at 8.00am from Kampot town to visit the famous Kep Crab Market animated by crab farming, people selling a lot of fresh seafood as well as regional vegetables and fruits. Next, we venture by trekking with 8km through the jungle trail in Kep National Park, feel the serenity of the mother nature that admired by songs of wildlife/birds and you will probably come across wild monkeys, and take beautiful photos of Cambodia’s landscape overlooking blue sea, islands and countryside.
Transfer to Kep boat pier, embark a local boat to Rabbit Island where we will have lunch mixing of fresh seafood and fried crabs with Kampot green peppers, and enjoy free time, swimming by the white sand beach or have a short trekking to see people growing seaweeds (if any) on this island.
After leisure time, we will take the boat back to the mainland and return to the hotel in Kampot.

Day 11 | Kampot: Public Speed Boat to Koh Rong Island
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at the hotel. Our driver (with/without guide) will pick you up 7.30am from the hotel then transfer you to the boat pier in Kampot where you will catch a shared-speed boat at 8.30am (approx. 2 to 2 ½) to beautiful Koh Rong Island. Once you arrive at the boat pier in Koh Rong, the hotel staff will welcome and assist you with your luggage then escorting you to the hotel for check-in and leisurely enjoy your own free time on Koh Rong Island.

Day 12 | Koh Rong Island – Beach Leisure
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at the hotel. Today is completely reserved for your own free time by the seaside for sunbathing, swimming and relaxing at the lovely resort’s swimming pool.

Day 13 | Speed Boat to Mainland & Public Bus to Phnom Penh
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at the hotel. Simply enjoy the rest of free time on Koh Rong Island. Check out and catch speed boat at 9.30am back to the mainland then you need to walk about 3 minutes from the boat pier to Giant Ibis bus station office near the boat pier and wait for the departure at 1.30pm to Phnom Penh Capital.
