Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 | Phnom Penh – Arrival
Meal: None
Upon your arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly escort driver then transfers directly (approx. 45-60 minutes) to a booked hotel for check in and have your own free time.

Day 2 | Phnom Penh Tour with Sunset Boat Cruise
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at hotel. Our experienced tour guide and driver will be greeting you at 8.00am from hotel then we drive to witness the tragic site of Choeung Ek – the killing field that proceeded more than 20 thousands of civilians and the site is connecting with Tuol Sleng Museum – was the former school that was transformed to Tortured Prison S21. Stroll around Russian market for shopping.
Enjoy tasty Khmer set lunch at Bopha Titanic Phnom Penh.
Afternoon, we go for a guided tour at the National Museum, the world’s most important collection of Cambodian antique sculptures and carvings. Next, continue to visit Wat Phnom with interesting legendary of founding place of Phnom Penh Capital. Return hotel refreshment and short break.
Evening, we head to Phnom Penh’s Riverside where get on board with a welcome cocktail while the boat cruise is slowly gliding along Mekong & Tonle Sap, watch the sunset fading at horizon, immerse yourself with golden color of Phnom Penh skyline. Disembark around 6.20pm and return hotel.

Day 3 | Trip from Phnom Penh to Mt Oudong
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. We’re heading out of the bustling Phnom Penh at 8.30am toward Phnom Oudong which locates in Kampong Speu and 40km Northwest Phnom Penh Capital. The journey takes approx. an hour drive passing beautiful countryside dotting with palm trees and huge rice fields. On the way, we make a visit at Silver Smith Making Village where we observe the locals making silver handicrafts.
Mt Oudong dates to 16th century along with interesting history. The former Royal Capital was ideally founded by King Srei Soryapor and its large impressive stupas house several Cambodia’s King’s ashes. Stepping our feet in the base of Mt Oudong and admired by green jungle, we gently enjoy walking up the main stairway with around 500 steps to reach the summit where we take off our shoes to explore the surrounding that includes three magnificent stupas and other small temples whilst witnessing Oudong history from our tour guide.
It’s true to take the advantage of breathtaking and capture the panoramic view before we set off back to Phnom Penh in the afternoon. Please be aware that you are freely invited to visit 8th century Pre-Angkorian temple of Phnom Praset and its Buddhist pagoda which admires the reclining Buddha.

Day 4 | Wildlife Rescue Center (Behind the Scenes)
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at hotel. Our driver will transfer you to the meeting point where you will get picked up at 8.00am by wildlife rescue Center’s team then heading to a local market to purchase fruits for lovely animals and friendly elephants, learn the story of those rescued wild animals and observe how we train them using gentle reward-based positive reinforcement, when we change Chhouk prosthetic foot. Enjoy a delicious Cambodian style lunch followed by fresh coconut juice while escape the heat of the day in our relaxing hammocks.
Get up close with clouded leopards, gibbons, otters and the other endangered animals that Wildlife Alliance has helped rescue and care for at the sanctuary. Continue to visit our nursery in the rehabilitation area – a section closed to the public and see the beautiful baby animals that we care for up close while interact with rescued baby macaque monkeys in their enclosure as you feed them (at the guide’s discretion).
Late afternoon, get drop-off in Phnom Penh between 4:30 – 5:30 PM then transfer back to hotel.

Day 5 | Phnom Penh Tour By Cyclo, Silk Island & Dinner Cruise
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. We leave hotel at 8.30am by car to take a challenge of cyclo ride (rickshaw) along riverfront for fantastic morning highlight of Phnom Penh Capital toward Independent Monument where we stop to capture some beautiful photos before resuming the ride to stroll around Central Market to see bustling local trades. Finished the cyclo ride at Royal Palace, we walk to visit The Royal Palace – a complex of buildings which are served as the royal residence for the King of Cambodia, admired by impressive Silver Pagoda with over 5000 solid silver tiles and other Royal Stupas, shrines, monuments etc. Return hotel for refreshment and break.
Afternoon, we head out to take a boat to explore Koh Dach (The Silk Island) – Koh Dach is actually famed for its fine silk productions, sits by the River Bank of Upstream Mekong in Kandal Province and the Island houses numerous silk communities where visitors can learn more about silk process, feeding worms, a reliable place purchasing silk items, scarves, Sarong, handicrafts as well as a great home for you to reveal silk weaving history in Cambodia. Besides silk weaving activities, you have chances to see authenticity of Cambodia including lifestyle, gardening activities, feeding animals and other interesting insights. Return by boat to Phnom Penh and we make our way back to your hotel.
Around 6.15pm, our team takes you to Phnom Penh’s Riverside, get on board with a welcome cocktail, enjoy dinner while the boat is slowly cruising along Mekong & Tonle Bassac, unwind yourself with colorful Phnom Penh nightlights.
