Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 | Siem Reap - Arrival

Meal: None
Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by our escort guide and driver then they transfer you directly to hotel for check in. Simply enjoy your own free time at hotel’s poolside.
Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2 | Cycling to Angkor Wat & Small Circuit (approx. 38km round trip)

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at hotel. Our tour guide meet you at 8.00am at the hotel with bike safety briefing then we mount our awaiting mountain bikes for the highlights of Siem Reap toward Angkor complex, ride through Angkor jungle to the south gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant face that religiously represents compassion, sympathy, equanimity and charity. Resume ride on Angkor Thom’s wall overlooking the moat and stop to take some picturesque photos before continue cycling to the west gate, park the bikes aside then we stroll around to unlock the great history of Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king and terrace of elephant. Enjoy short break followed by tropical fruits, finger snacks and soft drinks before we begin riding again through Angkor jungle, cross the iron bridge of French dike where you see Angkor River, enjoy the gentle ride to visit Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning, amazing tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed. Enjoy set lunch at a selected local restaurant near a temple.

Afternoon, we bike passing several ancient temples to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat - the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest unrivaled monument in the world. Built by Suryavarman II in 12th Century, Angkor Wat is considered as one of the top destinations in Asia and is a must-see in your lifetime. Learning from your tour guide the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia. Return by bike (or by support vehicle) to the hotel.

Day 3 | Bike to Countryside & Tonle Sap Floating Village (approx. 28km)

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After having breakfast, we gently start the bike ride out of the hassle Siem Reap city on the paved road about 7km passing Buddhist pagoda & school before we cycle along dirt road through local villages, see Khmer stilt houses, rice fields, vegetable gardens and you will be welcomed by kids saying “Hello” to you. The fantastic bike ride takes you to see authentic Cambodia while you’re riding pass to interact local people, visit local market, have a lot of stop to take beautiful photos of huge rice paddies dotting with palm trees, cows and water buffalos. Once we arrive in a village, you will be introduced to a host family before we have some fun on the ox cart ride through the village to get interaction. Disembark the cart, enjoy welcome fresh coconut juice from the host family and take lunch break or you can stroll around the family house to see animals and witness local daily life.
Afternoon, we say goodbye to the host family then continue riding (or take car) to Mechrey village floating village of Tonle Sap Lake. Embark a sheltered boat for the excursion to see The Great Lake of Tonle Sap which the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia and is also an ecological hot spot that was designated as a UNESCO biosphere in 1997. The boat trip slowly cruises along the canal then passing by floating school, floating houses which animated by some fishing activities. Our tour guide will explain you about Tonle Sap ecosystem and witness how life works in the floating community relying on aquatic resources, and we stop to see a small floating crocodile farm, souvenirs shop and stroll around Buddhist pagoda. Take the boat back to the mainland, return to your hotel by support vehicle.
Evening, transfer to have delicious Khmer set dinner at famous Viroth’s restaurant, the unique beautiful setting and garden before going to watch unique Phare Circus performance (no animals) which is unlike any other circus in the world: theater, story, dance, high-energy music and circus arts.

Day 4 | Bike to Intricately Carved Banteay Srei (approx. 47km)

Meal: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch
Breakfast is at hotel. We leave hotel by support vehicle about 5km away from the bustling Siem Reap then we experience the gentle ride on the dike overlooking beautiful rice paddies dotting palm trees, cattle, ploughing or planting activities and pass stilt houses from one village to others enhanced by “Hello” from friendly kids. We will have plenty of stops to take photos of interesting insights, observe rattan basket weaving and interact local people along with learning from your tour guide about their lifestyle and Cambodian culture. The bike adventure provides wonderful cycling experience on paved and dirt roads, see rural villages, Buddhist pagodas, mountainous landscape, and the tour is admired by ancient Banteay Samre temple before we park our bikes to witness the intricately carved, beautiful red-pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei - considered to be a Jewel of Khmer art which features elaborate decorations and its finest details. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourists, and have led to its being widely praised as a “precious gem”. After visiting Banteay Srei, we will take support vehicle back hotel and on the way, we visit at palm sugar village and other various local handicraft souvenirs. Today picnic lunch will be provided under the shade of the trees.
Evening, we go by car for an hour foot reflexology massage at our selected massage spa.

Day 5 | Siem Reap - Flight to Phnom Penh Capital

Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. Enjoy the rest of your time in Siem Reap before our escort guide and driver transfer you to airport for flight departure to Phnom Penh Capital. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by our escort guide and driver, transfer to hotel for check in and simply enjoy your own time by the poolside.

Day 6 | Phnom Penh – Tuol Sleng, Killing Field & National Museum

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at hotel. Today our guide and driver meet you at hotel’s lobby at 8.00am then drive to witness the tragic site of Cheug Ek - the killing field that proceeded more than 20 thousands of civilians and the site is connecting with Tuol Sleng Museum - was the former school that was transformed to Tortured Prison S21. Stroll around Russian market for shopping. Have set lunch at a selected restaurant by the riverside.

Afternoon, we go for a guided tour at the National Museum, the world’s most important collection of Cambodian antique sculptures and carvings. Next, continue to visit Wat Phnom with interesting legendary of founding place of Phnom Penh Capital.

Day 7 | Royal Palace & Market Tour By Rickshaw (Cyclo) & Sunset Cruise

Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. We leave hotel by car to take a challenge of cyclo ride (rickshaw) along riverfront for fantastic morning highlight of Phnom Penh Capital toward Independent Monument where we stop to capture some beautiful photos before resuming the ride to stroll around central market to see bustling local trades. Finished the cyclo ride at Royal Palace, we walk to visit The Royal Palace - a complex of buildings which are served as the royal residence for the King of Cambodia, admired by impressive Silver Pagoda with over 5000 solid silver tiles and other Royal Stupas, shrines, monuments etc. Return hotel and simply have free time.
Evening, we head to Phnom Penh's Riverside then get on board with a welcome cocktail from drink menu while the boat is slowly cruising along Mekong & Tonle Sap, watch the sunset fading at horizon before buffet dinner is started to serve, unwind yourself with colorful Phnom Penh nightlights. Disembark and return hotel.

Day 8 | Phnom Penh to Kep by Overland

Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. Today our escort guide and driver take you to Kep town, and the journey takes approx. 3 hours directly to Kep Province. Kep is a small sleepy town, remains pleasant mountainous nature, national park, less touristy coast and Rabbit Island while the famous Crab Market’s fresh crabs can be feasted with spicy dipping sauces.
Overnight in Kep.

Note: In the morning, you can enjoy the half day bike tour within the silk island (bordering Phnom Penh) through villages overlooking Mekong River before you make the journey to Kep in the afternoon.

Day 9 | Kep – Bike to Kampot & Surroundings (approx. 42km)

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at hotel. Start our gentle pace from the hotel, along the Kep beach to visit famous Crab Market animated by crab farming, people selling a lot of fresh seafood as well as regional vegetables and fruits. Resume ride to see the salt fields, enhanced by beautiful rice paddies dotting with palm trees and mountainous landscape while we bike toward Phnom Chhnouk where we experience walking 203-step staircase, down into the caves and admired by Pre-Angkorian bricked temple. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
We continue our cycling adventure, passing stilt house villages, along the beaten railway before we stroll around Sothy’s Pepper Plantation where the best famous Kampot pepper comes from and export to the world. Return back to Kep by bike or support vehicle.
Overnight in Kep.

Day 10 | Kep – Rabbit Island & Beach Break

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at hotel. We transfer you to Kep boat pier, embark a local boat (45mins) to Rabbit Island. Enjoy free time, swimming by the white sand beach or you can have a short trekking to see people growing sea weeds on the other side of the island. By the time, we will enjoy delicious seafood, grilled fishes and fried fresh crab with green Kampot peppers. Enjoy the tranquil seaside and relaxation before taking the boat back to the mainland and have free time in the late afternoon.

Day 11 | Kep to Phnom Penh by  Overland & Free Time

Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. The whole morning is reserved as free at your own leisure before our escort guide and driver transfer you back to Phnom Penh Capital. Have free time after check in.
Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Still love to bike! Kep National Park would be ideal for cycling activities with 8km track which keeps you enjoying the pleasant ride among the lush jungle while hearing birds singing or come across local wildlife and monkeys. Stop for beautiful landscape and the stunning views are breathtaking, overlooking Kep town, Cambodia’s blue coast, and Islands. This is also a great morning bike ride before heading back to Phnom Penh Capital.

Day 12 | Phnom Penh – Departure

Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. Enjoy the rest of your free time in Phnom Penh then our driver transfers you to airport for your flight departure back home. Say Goodbye to Cambodia.
