Day 1 | Siem Reap – Arrival, Welcome Dinner & Phare Cambodian Circus

Meal: Dinner
Upon your arrival at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly team then transfers directly (approx. 1 hour) to a booked hotel for check-in and have free time.

Evening, our team transfers you to have delicious Khmer set dinner the famous Chanrey Tree restaurant before heading to watch unique Phare Circus performance (Seat B) which is unlike any other circus in the world: theater, story, dance, high-energy music and circus arts.

Day 2 | Full Angkor Temples & Traditional Gondola Sunset

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch

Breakfast is at the hotel. We leave for the tour at 8.30am to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest unrivaled monument in the world. Built by Suryavarman II in 12th Century, Angkor Wat is considered as one of the top destinations in Asia and is a must-see in your lifetime. Learning from your tour guide the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia. Continue to visit Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning, amazing tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed.

Enjoy tasty Khmer set lunch at The Palmboo restaurant near temples.

Afternoon, we resume our discovery day for guided tour around Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king and terrace of elephant.

Finally, we stop at the South Gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces that religiously represent compassion, sympathy, equanimity and charity, and take as many photos as you want before heading back to the hotel.

Next, we’re heading to Angkor Thom where we will embark a traditional gondola which slowly glides along the moat (Tonle Om), immerse yourselves with the serenity among the stunning nature of Angkor which the moment seems date back to the old time of Angkor Kingdom while the picturesque sunset with golden color fading at horizon.

Day 3 | Sunrise, Phnom Kulen Waterfalls, 1000 Lingas & Beautiful Banteay Srei Temple

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch

We start the tour at 5.00am then drive within Angkor jungle toward the magnificent Angkor Wat where we wait to watch the spectacular sunrise over Angkor Wat towers and capture its beautiful sunrise reflection at the lotus pond.

Return to the hotel for breakfast (or you may request take-away breakfast from your hotel).

We leave again to visit one of Cambodia’s national parks – popularly known as “Phnom Kulen” where you meet famous, beautiful waterfalls. Phnom Kulen (Mountain of Lychee) situates about 57km with approx. 1 hour drive, Phnom Kulen is regarded as the holy mountain for religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists and was the significant home of the ancient Khmer Empire when King Jayavarma II proclaimed independence from Java in 804 CE. The journey provides nice views of rice paddies, countryside dotting with palm trees and cattle.

Enjoy the walking tour to see the giant reclining Buddha statue on the hilltop along with breathtaking, spectacular views and learn from your tour guide about historical site. Resume walking within the jungle to witness religious Hindu of the riverbed of 1000 linga carvings, next we move to observe the sacred ground-pool before we head to relax near the waterfall. From then, it is your own free time for cooling down and swimming.

Around 12.30pm, we return and enjoy tasty Khmer lunch at a selected local restaurant.

Afternoon, we head to unlock the intricately carved, beautiful red-pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei – considered to be a Jewel of Khmer art which features elaborate decorations and its finest details. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourists, and have led to its being widely praised as a “precious gem”. On the way back to Siem Reap, we stop for a visit at palm sugar village and other various local handicraft souvenirs, and we will stroll at Preah Dak village to observe local people making the famous steaming-rice cake which hides coconut milk inside.

*Please be aware that there are a lot of available temples within grand/small circuit for visiting. Flexibly depends on your interest and how you feel whether you want to skip or continue.

Day 4 | Village Experience, Tonle Sap Lake & Traditional Apsara Dance Show

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Breakfast is at hotel. We’re going out of the bustling Siem Reap city at 8.30am, the journey passes interesting city highlight and huge beautiful rice paddies dotting with palm trees and cattle in the fields before we arrive in the village, next have some fun on the oxcart ride through the village to get interaction along with “Hello” from friendly kids. Disembark the cart, you’ll be greeted by a host family with welcome fresh coconut juice before we get involved with rural activity including making roof of palm leaves. These rural village activities are most unique, memorable experience in your journey to the land of Angkor, Cambodia. Return to the family’s house, stroll round to see the surrounding which admired by routine, lifestyle, culture, customs and superstitions before enjoying lunch cooked by the host family, along with fruit tasting.

After lunch break, continue our journey to Kompong Phluk village at Tonle Sap Lake. Once we arrived at boat pier, we process to embark a local sheltered boat which begins to slow down to let you enjoy the surrounding admired by amazing houses atop high poles, come across the highlight of fishing activities as well as see people selling fruits/vegetable/meats on their boats. Witness how life works on the water and how people make the lake as home then we resume take rowing boat to explore the pleasant mangroves, enjoy the serenity while taking picturesque photos. Continue by our boat to see the great lake of Tonle Sap, learn from your tour guide about ecosystem and its rich biosphere reserve.

Evening, we leave to enjoy set dinner followed by traditional Apsara dance performance at The Apsara Theatre (the best Apsara performance in Siem Reap) and drop off at hotel OR at pub street after dinner.

Day 5 | Siem Reap to Phnom Penh by Private Car/Minivan

Meal: Breakfast

Breakfast is at hotel. Check out and leave Siem Reap at 8.00am then we drive with 6 hours to Phnom Penh Capital. On the way, we will have chance to sample a few bites Cambodian sticky-rice snacks before having a short visit at the ancient bridge at Banteay Kdei and stop at Skun to sample deep-fried crispy insects (crickets, grasshopper or water bugs etc.).

Once you arrived and checked in at your hotel in Phnom Penh in the evening, our Siem Reap guide and driver will say “goodbye and have a nice trip in Phnom Penh” to you. The next following tour activities/sightseeing will delightedly be taken care of by our Phnom Penh team.

Day 6 | Full Day Phnom Penh City Tour with Sunset Cocktail Boat Cruise

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch

Breakfast is at hotel. Our experienced tour guide and driver will be greeting you at 8.30am from hotel then we drive to witness the tragic site of Choeung Ek – the killing field that proceeded more than 20 thousands of civilians and the site is connecting with Tuol Sleng Museum – was the former school that was transformed to Tortured Prison S21. Stroll around Russian market for shopping.

Enjoy tasty Khmer set lunch at Bopha Titanic Phnom Penh.

Afternoon, we go for a guided tour at the National Museum, the world’s most important collection of Cambodian antique sculptures and carvings. Next, continue to stroll around Wat Phnom followed by an interesting legendary of founding place of Phnom Penh Capital. Return hotel refreshment and short break.

Evening, we head to Phnom Penh’s Riverside where get on board with a welcome cocktail while the boat cruise is slowly gliding along Mekong & Tonle Sap, watch the sunset fading at horizon, immerse yourself with golden color of Phnom Penh skyline. Disembark around 6.20pm and return hotel.

Day 7 | Phnom Penh Tour By Cyclo and Departure

Meal: Breakfast

Breakfast is at hotel. We leave hotel at 8.00am to take a challenge of cyclo ride (rickshaw) along riverfront for fantastic morning highlight of Phnom Penh Capital toward Independent Monument where we stop to capture some beautiful photos before resuming the ride to stroll around Central Market to see bustling local trades. Finished the cyclo ride at Royal Palace, we walk to visit The Royal Palace – a complex of buildings which are served as the royal residence for the King of Cambodia, admired by impressive Silver Pagoda with over 5000 solid silver tiles and other Royal Stupas, shrines, monuments etc.

Simply enjoy the rest of free time in Phnom Penh before our team transfers to Phnom Penh International Airport for your flight to the next destination.
