Detailed Itinerary

Our experienced tour guide and driver will be greeting you at 8.00am at your hotel’s lobby, heading to purchase Phnom Kulen ticket (included) before we drive out of the hassle Siem Reap city to visit one of Cambodia’s national parks – popularly known as “Phnom Kulen” where you meet famous, beautiful waterfall. Phnom Kulen (Lychee Mountain) is regarded as the holy mountain for religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists. The journey provides nice views of rice paddies, countryside dotting with palm trees and cattle before strolling at Preah Dak market to witness daily life of people selling their vegetables, meat etc. Once we arrived at Phnom Kulen, enjoy the walking tour to see the giant reclining Buddha statue on the hilltop along with breathtaking, spectacular views and learn from your tour guide about historical site. Resume walking within the jungle to witness religious Hindu of the riverbed of 1000 linga carvings, next we move to observe the sacred ground-pool before we head to relax near the waterfall. From then, it is your own free time for cooling down, swimming and enjoying local lunch and fresh coconut juice nearby (own account).

Afternoon, we drive to visit the hidden Beng Mealea jungle temple amongst the real wilderness. Once we arrive, we walk to experience the guided adventure within the lush jungle to reveal the lost temple “Beng Mealea”. Since the temple was constructed during the reign of king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century until then it’s never been restored again. It provides wonderful adventure tour that you’re going to climb over/down the ruined rocks, walking into the gallery to unlock the carvings and its interesting history of the Hindu temple related Angkor time. We then tranquilly capture picturesque photos. Return to your hotel and end of service.

    How much is Angkor ticket, how does one get it and how is it used?

    The Angkor ticket can be purchased at the toll booth en route to Angkor Archaeological Park. There is always queue, payment is made in cash and they will take photo for you. Once you get the pass, make sure you keep it with you safely (or use name tag) because you have to show your pass to authority guards at the entrance of each temple. Buying Angkor ticket online is also available and convenient, you should prepare a photo ready to upload when you’re processing your ticket on the official website: https://www.angkorenterprise.gov.kh/

    A). 1-day pass is USD 37
    B). 3-day pass is USD 62 (Valid within 10 days)
    C). 7-day pass is USD 72 (Valid within 30 days)

    Temple hours: The Angkor Wat complex opens at 5:00am and closes at 6:00pm. Banteay Srei closes at 5:00pm and Kbal Spean closes at 3:00pm, so plan your itinerary carefully.

    Transportation

    Due to the distance, air conditioning vehicles are the best option, cool and comfortable while Tuk Tuk is not available for this trip.

However, we require you to respectfully take responsibility to inform us at least 48 hours prior to the tour departure if you wish to cancel the booking.

    *Dressing Code

    Strong footwear is strongly recommended for walking at Beng Mealea temple and dressing should cover your shoulders and below your knees, should bring along insect repellent, extra clothes/towels, flip-flop (you’re going to get wet) and make sure your camera is fully charged a day before.
